Michelle Leigh Padilla

My name is Michelle Leigh Padilla. I was born April 15, 1976 at Tuscan Arizona. it was not until later on in life that i found out I had Di George syndrome and catch 22. i have graduated from Los Angles Harbor College with an AA degree. I am the first one in my family to get an AA degree. I have had three open-heart surgerys a long with mouth surgery and ear surgery and I have had a seizure as well. With the help of my parents they taught me to be strong and fight in life no matter what the out come is. I just recently lost my job do to my sickness. I was working for the County of Los Angles for four years. I married to great a guy his name is Joshua G Padilla. We would like to have kids but there is a 50-50 chance that my kids can have this gene. I want to let another people know that syndrome is out there and it is not going away. Please help me get the word out. I want to be able get my cause out there I want people know in California as well
