Join Ryan Dempster at The Palm Chicago to help Strike Out 22q!

CHICAGO — Make a date at The Palm Restaurant Chicago to “Strike Out 22q”! Join Ryan Dempster and friends at The Palm Restaurant located at 323 East Wacker Drive (Chicago, Ill. 60601) for an “Evening at The Palm” fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 from 6:30–9:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation dedicated to assisting charities and organizations supporting children with a 22q11.2 Deletion (sometimes referred to as DiGeorge Syndrome or VCFS) as well as other children’s charities in the Chicagoland area.

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a VIP party where guests will enjoy one-on-one time to mix and mingle with Ryan Dempster and other VIP guests invited to the event, as well as cocktails and appetizers and a special raffle held exclusively for the VIP party. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., all guests will enjoy a wonderful buffet at the Palm, including delicious signature favorites and cocktails, more amazing raffle offerings and an opportunity to bid to throw out a First Pitch at Wrigley Field.

The Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation strives to lend support through monetary grants, programs and increased community awareness through the following ways: providing funding to continue research for early detection of this disorder in children, supporting programs about 22q that provide education, physical therapy and activity to promote long-term well being, creating initiatives that build and instill confidence in these children, developing a 22q network for families to share information and experiences, and helping to navigate healthcare options and treatment.
