22q Centers of Excellence

The Dempster Family Foundation supports 22q Centers of Excellence within select hospitals systems through our annual grant cycle. These 22q clinics specialize in dealing with children with a 22q11.2 deletion and a broad array of issues that can be associated with the disorder. With a focus on the collaborative healthcare model, these 22q Clinics continue to have physicians within multiple specialties working together to ease the burden and close communication gaps. The Dempster Family Foundation supported the following 22q Centers of Excellence through the 2010 and 2011 Grant Cycles with plans to support and develop additional centers throughout the country.

• Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
• UCDavis Mind Institute
• Nationwide Children’s Columbus, OH
