We also collect technical information about your visit to our website. For example, when you visit our site we automatically log your IP address, your browser type and your access times. We use this information to assess and improve the functionality and features of our site.
Cookies
A “cookie” is a small piece of information sent from a web server to a browser to be read back later by the application. No personal information is collected. Cookies help us remember your preferences and collect technical information about your use of our website. You can configure your browser to alert you when a website is attempting to send a cookie to your computer and allow you to accept or refuse the cookie. However, deletion of cookies may affect the functionality of some features on our website.
Sharing Information
The Dempster Family Foundation recognizes your right to privacy, whether you are a donor, connect with others whose lives are affected by 22q, or simply a visitor. We do not sell donor or visitor information. If you donate to our Foundation, we will not provide account or other personal information to non-affiliated third parties for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any products or services.
We may share information with third parties contracted to provide services on our behalf who may only use that information as necessary to provide those services. We may also share information as required to comply with law and regulation, or to comply with court orders, subpoenas or lawful discovery requests.
