Dempster Family Foundation to Host 22q Families at Turner Field

Atlanta 22q families get to be a part of America’s favorite pasttime with their friends, family and The Dempster Family Foundation at Turner Field on Sunday, Aug.14 when the Chicago Cubs visit the Atlanta Braves. The Dempster Family Foundation is playing host to 22q families from Atlanta at the game. The children will receive t-shirts and other goodies from the Foundation and all families will even have an opportunity to meet Cubs Pitcher Ryan Dempster if his pitching schedule allows.

The Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness of 22q11.2 deletion (DiGeorge Syndrome/VCFS) and reaching out to families with children with the disorder, and the charities that support them, to help them deal with difficult situations they face each day.
