Cubs Fans Help Raise more than $2,300 at Candyality

Fans continued to celebrate the opening weekend of the Cubs 2011 season at Candyality on Sunday, April 3 while raising funds for The Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation.

More than 600 fans visited the Wrigleyville sweets shop, raising over $2,300 for the Foundation.  Fans purchased unique candy bins filled with Candyality’s very own red, white and (cubbie) blue Cubbie Gummie Bears and had the opportunity to meet Chicago Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster (and candy aficionado) while getting his autograph and posing for individual pictures.

Candyality also hosted the Sweetest Cub’s Fan Raffle with all proceeds benefiting the charity.  For the second year in a row, Candyality has pledged to donate $1 to the Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation for every pound of Cubbie Gummie Bears sold.
