Dr. Lawrence T. Reiter at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis is conducting a research study to find out if nerve cells can be grown from the dental pulp of people with various neurogenetic syndromes. One of the syndromes Dr. Reiter is studying is 22q11.2 deletion or DiGeorge Syndrome. Dr. Reiter needs teeth from 22q deletion kids to further investigate the neurological features of 22q11.2 deletion syndrome.
