Cubs New Management Supports Ryan Dempster at Dempster Family Foundation Fundraiser!

Ryan and Jenny Dempster and the Dempster Family Foundation are proud to announce an Evening at the Palm fundraiser was a huge success thanks to their wonderful and generous friends and foundation supporters. Over $28,000 was raised at the event to benefit the Dempster Family Foundation as well as other children’s charities in the Chicagoland area. Celebity guests including Theo Epstein, Cubs President, Baseball Operations, Jed Hoyer Cubs Excutive Vice President, Cubs General Manager, Randy Bush, Cubs Assistant General Manager, Jason McLeod, Cubs Vice President, Scouting and Player Development and Comcast SportsNet broadcaster and former Cub, Todd Hollandsworth came out to show their support for Ryan and Jenny at the event.

Over 150 guests dined on delicious Palm signature food offerings and cocktails, and bid on exclusive travel packages and sports memorabilia, as well as other items including a vacation packge to the Marriott’s Aruba Ocean Club Resort and the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch before a Cubs game during the 2012 season.

Palm General Manager, Max Maxwell made a special announcement to Ryan and Jenny by surprising them with their own caricature portrait on the Palm Restaurant wall! Ryan and Jenny were honored to be included in this great Palm tradition.

The Dempster Family Foundation was excited to partner with the Palm Restaurant to host a successful event to raise funds to help children in need in the Chicagoland area.
