Foundation Hosts D’Agostino’s Family Night of Fun

Cubs Pitcher Ryan Dempster and friends joined together at the third annual D’Agostino’s Family Night of Fun to benefit the Dempster Family Foundation on Thursday, January 12, 2012. Ryan’s teammates including Keith Moreland, Darwin Barney, Randy Wells, Kerry Wood and others joined him for the night. Fans mixed and mingled with Ryan and his friends in a pre-Cubs Convention intimate setting, while enjoying “all you can eat” of Chicago’s favorite thin-crust pizza, with an open bar, silent auction, trivia games, raffles and more. Over $18,000 was raised to benefit the Dempster Family Foundation.

Silent auction items included: first row field seats to the Roger Waters concert at Wrigley Field, Bat Boy for a Day Experience with the Chicago Cubs, a Day Spa package to Allyu Spa, a Ryne Sandberg autographed baseball, a Tony Romo autographed football, a Chicago Poker & Casino Rental Poker Package and more! Ryan also raffled 2 VIP tickets to the 3rd Annual Dempster Foundation Casino Night in May!

Proceeds benefited The Ryan and Jenny Dempster Family Foundation, a non-profit organization created to support charities in need around Chicagoland, as well as families of children affected by 22q11.2 Deletion (DiGeorge Syndrome/VCFS).
